Born in Caracas, based in Basel (CH) , is considered one of the most versatile bassists in Venezuela. Graduated from Escuela de Música Lino Gallardo in Caracas, he has played with many of the most prominent artists and groups in Venezuela. He has presented workshops about Venezuelan Music in many places as Berklee College of Music, and University of Tokyo, between others. Roberto Koch plays with Thomastik-Infeld Strings.
