This picture was made at the Neandersteig in Velbert. This piece of art was made by an artist, who does not want to be called by name. He told me, that he had ordered the skull as a whole piece somewhere in the internet years ago.
Not only since the art piece „For the Love of God“ from Damien Hirst the skull is a often used theme in the modern art. This type of Memento Mori has furthermore a very long tradition in the art.
