My interest in photography started already as a child. Later I had always the ambition to make pictures, which are not just the usual souvenir of the moment.
Today photography to me is a way to appropriate the contemporary complex global reality, since it urges to take a closer look on the world. My aim is to show this reality as it is and not to judge about right or wrong. The pictures shall also make perceptible the non vislible of this reality. Be it a social, cultural, economical or historic context. A means to this is to relate picture as it is done in this portfolio.
Of course, this appropriation can only be a subjective one. Nevertheless I hope that some may be touched and share a similar reflection of our reality.
