People of the Thaipusam celebrations in Kuala Lumpur / Malaysia. Being one of the biggest Hindu festives in the world, during Thaipusam hundreds of thousands of Hindu gather at the Batu Caves just outside Kuala Lumpur. The night before they start in temples in the city walking the 15km to the caves with their temples. most of the people carry silver pots with milk to worship their goods shouting "vel vel" asking for wisdom. Some are heavily pierced with hooks in their back or through their face.
